Door, railings & balcony

Door, railings & balcony shows three of the jobs we did on a private house in central London. The front door was removed as one large rusted lump which we restored. You could not tell under the rust and paint but the glass panels were all individual hinged panels. The upper original balcony was removed and sympathetically made higher and longer. The railings along the pavement are all new. Designing new railings like this is not just that they have to be in keeping with the building and area but have to take the lateral loads of worst case scenario.
